20th Century spotlight: Perth Art Gallery, Scotland

Perth Art Gallery (managed by Culture Perth and Kinross)

Originally opened as a library and museum by the Literary and Antiquarian Society of Perth in 1824, Perth Art Gallery (as it is now called, with Perth Museum due to open in 2024) houses a particularly strong collection of Scottish Art from the 20th Century, and in 2024 will house again the JD Fergusson and Margaret Morris Collection, previously housed in the Fergusson Gallery until the Autumn of 2022. A Modern Scots exhibition at the Gallery running until 2026 explores the stories of influential Scottish artists over the last century.
