The Ipswich Borough Council Collection is presented at Christchurch Mansion, a 16th Century brick mansion house and within it the Wolsey Art Gallery, added in the 1920s. Whilst the Collection is noted for artworks by John Constable and Thomas Gainsborough, the Borough Council Collection's 20th Century holdings include works by the Camden Town artists and some important figures in the story of sculpture in Britain during the last century, including Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore and Eduardo Paolozzi.

Baskett (1845–1929), Harry Becker (1865–1928), George Belcher (1875–1947), Alfred Bentley (1878–1923), Robert Polhill Bevan (1865–1925), Reginald Brill (1902–1974), and 55 more
