More about

Malleny House was probably built towards the end of the sixteenth century, although the majority of the current house, together with the walled garden and doocot, date from the seventeenth century. Much appreciated for its atmosphere of peace and tranquillity, Malleny is a garden to visit for a few hours of quiet contemplation among beautiful surroundings. The estate includes a walled garden with a delightful collection of old-fashioned roses and fine herbaceous borders. The large Victorian greenhouse offers a summer display of scented-leaf pelargoniums, fuchsias and heliotropes.
