More about

The collection is housed in a seventeenth-century fishing cottage adjacent to the cathedral ruins. During the 1930s, this building and the adjacent building were restored and converted into a single family home. Purchased in the 1960s by the Preservation Trust, the building was separated, one half becoming the Trust Museum. Please note that the collection is closed for refurbishment – reopening in summer 2025.
