
Printmaker, painter and teacher who studied at Glasgow School of Art, 1914–20; in Paris with André Lhote and at La Grande Chaumière; returned to be head of art at Laurel Bank School, 1922–5; then in London studied wood engraving at the Slade School of Fine Art, 1927. In that year she joined the Glasgow Society of Lady Artists, winning its Lauder Award in 1928. Her sisters Helen and Margaret were also both members. Annabel showed extensively with the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts and RSA, also with RA. Lived in St Andrews, Fife, but died in North Berwick, East Lothian.
