A rectangular block of stone is minimally carved to suggest a vacated throne with a once-soft seat, the impression of an absent hand on the right arm and two ghostly footprints. The folds of a robe shape the seat and the outline of a leg is pressed into the lower part, while a discarded robe is draped over the left side. The viewer is invited to usurp the throne of the absent ruler, and many younger visitors do so.
