Gouache on paper of St William’s College. This original artwork was then replicated to advertise York as a destination on Railway posters.

The interior courtyard of St William's college with two ladies in walking clothes and cloche hats stood on the steps to the seventeenth century grand entrance. An old lady dressed in black with a red shawl with a walking stick makes her way across the grassed courtyard. The windows on the first floor are all open whilst the roof is painted hastily in orange with no tile detail.
