Painter, collagist and draughtsman, born in Paris, France, her mother French, her Dutch father a Batik artist who supplied major Paris and New York fashion houses in the late 1920s. Enright lived in Egypt, Thailand and Japan before taking up painting seriously in the 1960s in Singapore, where she began exhibiting. Her teacher and mentor was the Chinese artist Cheong Soo Pieng; an Oriental influence was apparent in her work, which could display dreamlike and visionary elements. Settled in England, Enright was given a solo show at Drian Gallery in 1979; she continued to exhibit there, work being acquired by Gdansk National Museum, Poland. She also showed at Ashgate Gallery, in Farnham, and at POSK Gallery. She was married to the writer and poet D J Enright, and her work was on the cover of his book of essays Signs & Wonders, 2001.
