Derby Museums and Art Gallery's portrait 'Dr Pearce (1870–1935)' by Ernest Townsend is on display in the first floor foyer of the Derby Cathedral Centre and may be viewed with a prior appointment. Other works from the collection may be exhibited at the Cathedral Centre from time to time as part of the changing programme of exhibitions in the Sir Richard Morris Lounge.

The Derby Cathedral Centre hosts a coffee shop, an education centre, a library, exhibition and meeting rooms, a treasury displaying the Cathedral's historic objects, a Biblical garden, listening rooms and the Cathedral offices. Opening hours: Monday to Saturday 9am–3.30pm.
