Hugh Adam Crawford
1898–1982
Painter, mural artist, designer and teacher, born in Busby, Lanarkshire. Was married to the artist Kathleen Mann. Crawford studied at Glasgow School of Art under Maurice Greiffenhagen, 1919–23; at Central School of Arts and Crafts, 1924–5; and at St Martin’s School of Art.
