This pastel scene of a Welsh chapel is signed with the artist's married name 'Dreyfus' (better-known for her work during the Second World War, signed with her maiden name 'Abrahams') and indistinctly dated, probably to 1968 (although it appears erroneously dated to 1928 in the previous cataloguing – see Jewish Artists: the Ben Uri Collection, 1994, p. 37, cat no. 75).
