A cast from a plaster model, which was displayed at the Festival of Britain, 1951. Ehrlich was an Austrian sculptor who worked in Munich and Berlin before fleeing to Britain in 1937. He is best known for his animal studies and for his sculptures of children, often based on fishermen's children in Italy.
