A commemorative statue to Queen Victoria. A life-size figure of the queen stands on a Portland stone podium. The standing figure faces south along the Esplanade, with its back to the Church of St John. The square plinth has moulded capping above four decorative panels, on a moulded base to two offset square stages and a two-stage platform.
