Moray-Smith's large equestrian portrait of George Prince of Denmark (consort of Queen Anne whom he had married in 1683) on the side of wall of the pub. The rider shows his effortless control of his leaping horse, here resting its rear legs on stylised flowers and above buildings, while the Prince of Denmark wears a plumed hat and blue coat. He turns to the spectator holding a falcon in one hand, a wooden pole and banner with a very tattered flag of Saint George which was propped diagonally across his body, was removed during the 2007 restoration. Above a shield with the Union Jack is supported by two winged angels and there are bunches of flowers at the sides.
