The Falklands Conflict, 1982. The Argentinian supply ship 'Bahia Buen Suceso' at anchor in Fox Bay East, West Falkland Island, comes under attack by two Sea Harrier aircraft of 800 Naval Air Squadron of the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm on 16 May 1982. The artist visited the Falklands very soon after the conflict, and made his oil sketches with help from those directly involved.
