Painter and draughtsman of marine scenes, born in Bromley, Kent, married to the painter Jean Main. After education at the Nautical College, Pangbourne, he studied with the Cornwall-based painter Borlase Smart. Exhibited RBA, SMA and ROI. Charles David Cobb lived in Brockenhurst, Hampshire.
