The representation of a front room displayed on the wall and in the forecourt of Opie's Museum of Memories, a former cotton mill building. A fireplace with a mantelpiece with representations of objects from the museum's collection dominates the mill wall. On the chimney breast are three automata in the form of large copper heads set in rectangular boxes with stainless steel frames. The heads were ‘Carton Head’ (top), ‘Jar Head’ (middle) and ‘Tin Head’ (bottom). The forecourt is tiled to represent a living room floor, on which is placed a pile of dominoes.
