Painter, draughtsman and teacher who studied at Belfast School of Art and Chelsea College of Art. Living in Country Antrim, he went on to teach in various schools and colleges of art in Northern Ireland. Took part in group shows and had over a dozen solo exhibitions in Belfast, Dublin, Londonderry and Templepatrick from 1980. Wilson was a powerful draughtsman, as shown in Cast No Stones, a big drawing in Salute to Turner, held in 1989; and in Man with Hambletonian, Mount Stewart, in The Broad Perspective, 1990, both Agnew exhibitions.
