Sculptor of figurative and abstract works, born in London. She obtained an honours degree in modern languages at London University, 1959; lived abroad, chiefly in Africa, 1961–76; then gained a degree in fine art at Hertfordshire College of Art & Design, 1985. Took part in a number of international symposia, group exhibitions including Sculpture in the Park, Essex University, 1990; Jesus College, Cambridge, 1992; and Merseyside Maritime Museum, Liverpool, 1993. Had a solo show at The Crypt Gallery, Bloomsbury, 1990, later ones including Helsinki Festival, Finland, 1994. In that year she shared a three-man exhibition at Morley Gallery. Public sculpture includes The Seated Hand, London Zoo, 1990; Time Beam II, Stansted Airport, 1991; and The Great Wave, Sovereign Centre, Eastbourne, 1992.
