Painter and designer of costume figures, born in Liverpool, who studied at Clifton College, then Slade School of Fine Art, St John’s Wood Art School and Royal Academy Schools where he won a gold medal and travelling scholarship. Showed at Dudley Gallery, RA, RI and Paris Salon and lived in London.
