Stirling High School is one of Scotland's oldest schools, its origins dating back to the twelfth century. The School is proud of its thousand-year-old traditions, history and rich heritage, but is also firmly focused on the present and future, reflecting the School's motto 'Tempori Parendum' (Change with the Times). Stirling High School's new site (opened officially in 2008) comprises fully modernised academic and sporting facilities. The painting collection is a part of the School's rich heritage.
