More about

Home of ancient burial mounds, a Roman crossroad, a medieval priory, James I palace and the enigmatic Royston Cave, discover over 2000 years of Royston's story at Royston Museum. With just under 20,000 objects in its Collection, Royston Museum celebrates and shares Royston’s heritage and stories; connecting people and places, past and present. The Museum's art collection focuses chiefly on Ernest Herbert Whydale, who lived in the town until his death in 1952.
