Malvern Library holds an extensive collection of illustrations of Malvern and the surrounding area. This includes oil paintings, watercolours, photographs and lithographs. Many benefactors have donated items to the collection since the library was opened over 100 years ago. One of the highlights of the collection is a painting of Great Malvern by William Turner of Oxford (1789–1862) presented by Sir Edward Elgar in commemoration of the passing of the Malvern Hills Act 1924.
