More about

Lydiard House is a beautiful historic house set in 260 acres of landscaped public parkland. Our museum houses fine plasterwork, furniture, porcelain, glass, silver and costume within an eighteenth-century stately home. Our collection of oil portraits spans over 300 years and contains examples by notable British portraitists, including Godfrey Kneller, Sir Peter Lely, Jonathan Richardson and John Greenhill.
