The restored Control Tower of the former World War Two airfield at Dumfries is the centrepiece of the Museum and a listed building. Run by volunteers and enthusiasts, the Museum houses an expanding collection of aircraft, aero-engines and personal mementos, souvenirs and memorabilia honouring airborne forces and their civil support groups.
