More about

The Centre for Specialist Psychological Therapies (CSPT) is a tertiary service within the NHS, providing highly-specialised expert care to complex and difficult-to-treat outpatients. We receive referrals from a range of clinicians within the community, including psychiatrists, GPs and others, and hope to work with a wide range of mental health, emotional and relational problems. Our service in 2024 was kindly gifted a collection of 25 pieces by the North of England Art Club. This generous donation was in aid of improving the atmosphere at our clinical base; to help us to establish a warm and inspirationally creative space, for our clients to attend. The North of England Art Club is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, and currently has around 70 active members. Originally formed in 1835, the profound history of the club boasts numerous professional artists. They currently run a full programme of artistic activities, workshops, discussions and exhibitions.
