About this video
Promoted as the world's largest structure made from inflated stainless steel, Halo by Stephen Newby is in Trinity Square, Gateshead. A local Year 5 primary school group chose this sculpture to be the subject of their film. Using a simple green screen, each individual came up with a different explanation of how Halo got there and what it symbolises.
This film is one of a series of short films about local sculpture produced by schools and groups of young people from across the UK.
