Livia is a historian of art and architecture of the early modern period. She has published numerous articles and essays on the intersection of art and architectural practice, and her book, Painting Architecture in Early Renaissance Italy, is forthcoming in 2024 with Harvey Miller (Brepols). She also works as an editor and specialist translator, providing translations of early modern Italian texts for major exhibitions at the National Gallery, London. Currently a research fellow at the University of Warwick, she is working on a digital exhibition for the Sir John Soane’s Museum exploring Renaissance architectural drawings.
