Leigh Manley is a freelance writer, poet and creative facilitator based in south Wales. He is also a passionate supporter of Welsh rugby!

After graduating from Aberystwyth University with a degree in English Literature and History, he embarked on a 22-year career in financial services before a change of direction in 2022.

Leigh's poetry for adults has featured, amongst others, with Poetry Wales, Ink Sweat & Tears, Red Poets and The Seventh Quarry, as well as anthologies such as Yer Ower Voices: Dialect poems in Welsh and English from Cymru and Beyond / Tu Hwnt, the first bilingual anthology by Welsh Deaf and Disabled writers.

Leigh also writes and performs poetry for children and his work has featured with The Dirigible Balloon and Northern Gravy. He is currently finalising arrangements with a publisher which will likely see his debut collection of children's poems enter the world in 2026.
