English Prime Minister and Chancellor of the Exchequer William Pitt the Younger (1759–1806) in Roman dress. It is one of many versions of the posthumous bust which sculptor Joseph Nollekens (1737–1823) based on Pitt’s death mask. Allegedly Nollekens sold 74 versions of this bust at 120 guineas each.
