A two-stepped base surmounted by stepped plinth, column, and a bronze figure of Victory. There is a dedicatory inscription carved on the front face of the plinth and below it is placed a brass plaque giving details of where the list of those commemorated can be found. A low metal railed fence is placed around the base of the memorial and the whole stands on a circular paved area bordered by a flower bed edged with low hedging. The war memorial was moved to its current location in 1969 and the winged Victory added in 2000.
