A stone wheel-cross mounted on a carved square-set stone column with many niches. On one side of the column is a carved figure of Saint George and the Dragon. The column surmounts a stone plinth on which are carved the names of those who lost their lives in the First World War, and an inscription. The whole stands on a wide, square stone base. A separate stone panel, standing on the base and placed as if leaning against the pedestal, is carved with the names of the Second World War dead. This memorial was unveiled on Sunday 25th September 1921.
