A stone cross set in the centre of a garden of remembrance. The cross blends into an octagonal pedestal on a two-step octagonal base, with an inlaid inscription around the lower step. There are concrete approach steps to the memorial from Market Place to the west, paths to the north and south, and a wall and tablet to the east. The steps are flanked by an ashlar sandstone wall, with concrete copings, that extend alongside the paths.
