The memorial takes the form of a kneeling allegorical female figure (Remembrance), in thoughtful pose with eyes closed and head bowed. Her head is resting on her left hand and a floral wreath is held in her right hand. The statue stands upon a tall, rusticated stone pedestal which in turn stands upon a five-stepped base. The memorial records the names of the 117 men from Tweedmouth who fell in the First World War; three men from Tweedmouth who fell in the Second World War and a single serviceman who fell in the Falkland's War. The source of the quotation used in the inscription is 1 Samuel XXV 15, 16.
