A white lace-paper front is mounted onto a slightly larger sheet of blue wove paper which has been cut down on all sides. At the centre is a collage of embossed, cut-paper and hand-coloured leafy branch with nest and a pair of doves. Below is a further collage of cut-paper and hand-coloured leaves and flowers with additional buds and leaves stencilled in gouache. A verse is lithographed (as handwritten) in blue ink at upper and lower centre: 'If truest love can gain respect I may a / mutual love expect / Fond affection can avail then may / I hope love will prevail'.
