The painting shows a tiger looking out from its shaded hiding place amongst some fallen trees, its tail hanging over the side of a tree trunk.

The artist was born in Kiambu, Kenya in 1965. He worked as a wildlife painter in oils in Florida and England. His paintings were sold at Sotheby's and Christie's. He died on 29 December 2007.
