Designated in the lettering as Berkeley Castle, in Berkeley, Gloucestershire, where Edward Jenner lived. However, the same buildings are shown in a print of Thornbury Castle, Gloucestershire (subsequently Avon), by W. T. Woolnoth after E. Blore. The buildings are shown here in a derelict state.
