The full standing figure – a 220 centimetre tall statue was disposed of by public subscription in 1860. In 1884 it was transferred to the garden of Dr T. B. Grierson’s Thornhill Museum. Now only the head remains and is mounted on a Locharbriggs red sandstone boulder with a metal peg.
