Tangier (also Tangiers) is a city in northern Morocco which lies on the North African coast at the western entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar. Born in 1913, Millicent Ayrton attended Liverpool College of Art and largely painted in an Impressionistic style. She founded the Deeside Art Club in 1945 and was its chairman for 40 years.
