The memorial hall incorporates the First World War memorial with Second World War additions. The central screen holds four plaques with the names of the regiments of the dead arranged around a carved relief depicting the Swan Hunter factory. The arch above contains a steamer ship at sea. To eiter side are life-sized figures of a seaman and a gunner with reversed rifles.
