Three steel cut-out figures representing characters selected by the community who have connection to the Northwich area. From right to left these are: a representative salt worker or 'lump man' from the nineteenth century; Paula Radcliffe, marathon runner, who grew up in Northwich and set a new Marathon World Record at the London Marathon 2003; Gary Barlow, singer, born in nearby Frodsham, lead singer with Take That. A wooden bench is situated in front of the figures and an explanatory plaque is placed on the opposite side of the path. Erected to mark the creation of National Cycle Network Route 5 through Northwich.
