This painting is one of a series from a collaborative work with the composer, Piers Hellawell. Hellawell has written a work with three movements for a quartet, titled 'Still Dancers', with the first movement based on trees, now still, but formed by movement. The second movement is based on weathered stones and the third on clouds seen from above.
