Glenys Cour was born in 1924 in Fishguard. From 1945 to 1948 she studied Fine Art at Cardiff College of Art, where she trained with Ceri Richards and gained skills in collage, paper-making, oil painting, watercolour and stained glass. She later taught painting at Swansea College of Art. She lives and has her studio in Mumbles, Swansea.
