a newspaper clipping (damaged) "The Old Cottage at D(ore?)” Sir - The condemned cottage at Dore has been reprieved. The sentence has been removed and the venerable little fabric mentioned with impending destruction has happily escaped the hands of the would-be spoiler. The constitutional decrepitude of the old survivor of the past has been effectually recruited by adequate repair, and in spite of its load of years, it now bids fair to extend its longevity to a very distant date – Yours etc,
