Robert Kirkland Jamieson

1881–1950

Painter and teacher, born at Lanark, Scotland. He studied at Glasgow Training College for Teachers, then in Paris. For most of the 1930s he was head of Westminster School of Art, taking over as principal of St Martin’s School of Art in 1945.
