Rowland Fisher
1885–1969
Marine and landscape painter in oil and watercolour and ship modeller, born in Gorleston, Norfolk, son of a master mariner. Originally he wanted to go to sea but instead worked at Jewson & Sons timber yard, Great Yarmouth, for 50 years, becoming president of the local Society of Artists.
