Artist in acrylic, true fresco, mixed media and sculpture, including bronze, steel and concrete. He was born in Saltash, Cornwall, graduating from Sheffield University and gaining his master’s degree in fine art from Wolverhampton Polytechnic, 1981–4, teachers including Malcolm Hughes, Knighton Hosking and Graham Cooper.
