A half-length portrait of Rembrandt's young wife, turned to the left, wearing a large feathered hat, pendant earrings, a single strand necklace and with her hands clasped at her breast.

The original painting is in the Gemäldegalerie, Kassel. The Belgian artist who painted this picture had no arms and painted with his toes, hence the work is signed 'C. Felu.pede', pede meaning foot.
