A horse-drawn double-decker omnibus on a London Street. The conductor stands on a small platform at the back of the bus. The destinations 'Bank' and 'Clapham', and various signs are legible on the door and wall of the bus. Two men and a woman can be seen sitting inside. A middle-aged couple stands in front of the omnibus looking at the smirking conductor. She is wearing a crinoline dress, bonnet and cape; he is dressed in a suit and top hat and carrying an umbrella. Shops and street lamps are on both sides of street. A hansom cap is coming towards the omnibus on the other side of the street. Initidal G.d.M. in the lower left corner.
