The sculpture, made from sandstone blocks, represents the interior of a pub. Off centre is a fireplace and on the mantelpiece there are two pint pots. There is a lamp on the left of the mantelpiece. At each side of the hearth is a stool and a long bench seat with a cushion. There is a silhouette of a gable end, a window and a chimney. The sculpture is set amidst the local pubs and represents the snug of a Victorian pub, but it is also functional in that it provides seating.
